Vintage quilt, c1920, uses 3in x 4.5in rectangles in alternating red and blue stripes to create the 4.5in wide Bars with alternating 4in wide solid white cotton bars. The stripe fabric is an interesting textile, possibly a rayon blend. One 10in wide white cotton outer border. Machine pieced and hand quilted with flowers in the bars and wide cables in the borders.
