Antique Quilt c1860s Pomegranate or Love Apple. 96in x 96in. 18 Pomegranate 12in x 12in blocks with 18 alternating solid blocks, set straight, 6 by 6, with one 11.5in border. Fabrics include turkey red prints and double process green solid and print. Hand appliqued, hand pieced, and hand quilted. This cotton batting with white cotton backing. Edge is finished by bringing the back to the front, and hand applying. The quilting is quite lovely, with a combination of straight parallel lines, echo quilting, and elegant feathers.
