I believe this to be just a fragment or a start of a quilt. Comprised of silk hexagons, measures 59in x 57in. Red rosette in the center between bars of gold and black/red. Many purple and pale blue silks. It is hand pieced with many of the papers still attached on the inside. It is only the top, there is no batting or backing, it is unfinished.
