Antique c1880 Honeycomb Quilt made of mostly wool challis and delaines. I see a few velvets, as well. 80in x 86in. Striking purple path between the honeycomb rosettes. One border 5in wide, where the quilter used the stripe in the print to her advantage. Hand pieced and hand quilted in each hexagon. Thin cotton batting and large scale cotton print on the back.
