c1850 Antique Red and Green Tulip Quilt with Leaf Border, 92in x 92in. 42 tulips are appliqued on strips of white fabric, although many breaches the seam. 3 borders of an unusual leaf motif 9in wide. It is hand pieced and hand appliqued. There is no batting but there is a white cotton with tiny brown dot backing and a woven tape to finish the edges. It is not quilted or tied.
