Beautifully hand embroidered vintage c1930s quilt top. 80in x 80in. 25 blocks, 11in x11in set straight. 5 by 5 with 3.5in blue sashing and 6in wide blue border. Each block is different depicting mostly children, some nursery rhymes, and some in international costumes. The center 5 blocks are set upright, while the blocks on the side are oriented so that if this was draped on a twin bed, the blocks would appear upright. It is hand pieced and hand embroidered. This is an unfinished quilt with no batting or backing.
