Vintage Woven Pot Holder Comfort Quilt measuring 67×112 inches. The tag dates it to 1930-1940. Each stripe is composed of 10 woven 4 patch squares, sewn together. It is backed with a red cotton solid, and tied. In good condition, there is a large yellow discoloration. This textile was part of Laura Fisher’s estate. Laura Fisher was a New York based world renowned quilt expert, dealer and author, and in offering these textiles for sale we hope to honor her legacy of style and scholarship.
