Vintage Rail Fence Comfort or Tied Quilt c1940s. measuring 62×76. Top consists of 168 Rail Fence blocks, set straight 12 by 14 with pink strip on both side of the block. The blocks are then alternating orientation to create the Rail Fence aesthetic. The reverse is comprised of 4.25 inch squares. Thin cotton batting, and tied at each intersection. It is machine pieced. In good condition with some edge wear and storage discoloration. Quilt is from a Barnegat NJ family, made while living in the Boston area.
