Antique c1880 Courthouse Steps Quilt measuring 90×90 inches. Consists of 82 blocks, set straight, 9 by 9, with no sashing or borders. Fabulous prints from the last quarter of the 19th century, a few novelty horse related prints. It is hand pieced and sparsely hand quilted. Medium loft cotton batting and a woven plaid reverse. The backing is brought to the front on 3 sides to finish the edge, the last side is knife edge finished. In fair condition with several fabrics deteriorating. We do our best to describe all items in detail and provide pictures. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
