Vintage cotton quilt measuring 78 x 83 inches. Hand stitched motifs including tulips, butterflies, leaves, flowers, moons, hearts, and more in medallion style. Two layers with thin flannel and hand quilted. Has a strong Pennsylvania aesthetic. In fair condition with lots of scuffs, spots, and marks. Edge is hemmed by machine. This bed cover was part of Laura Fisher’s estate. Laura Fisher was a New York based world renowned quilt expert, dealer and author, and in offering these textiles for sale we hope to honor her legacy of style and scholarship.
