February Antique & Vintage Quilt Auction
Vintage Monkey Wrench quilt 1890-1930, measuring 66×79 inches. The top appears to be from about 1890, and finished in 1930s, based on the backing fabric. 30 blocks are set straight, 5 by 6, with chrome yellow sashing and borders. Backing is a green and white print. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. In fair condition, fabric in one block is deteriorating, the binding is worn overall and there is wear and holes along one border. We do our best to describe all items in detail and provide pictures.
