February Antique & Vintage Quilt Auction
Vintage 9 Patch quilt, c1940s, measuring 56×75 inches. 30 blocks, set straight, 5 by 6, with scrappy stripes and plaids sashing and a black woven stripe border. It is hand and machine pieced and hand quilted in a combination of diagonal parallel lines and Baptist Fan. Thick cotton batting. The back is pieced in horizontal strips. This quilt was collected in NC. In good condition, some spots, some of the spots along the border could be rust, and some repairs in black thread. It also not perfectly square, but leans a little. We do our best to describe all items in detail and provide pictures. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
