Vintage Scrap Patchwork Quilt from c1950s measuring 66×85 inches. Blocks are an assortment of patchwork, that at first glance appears to be a contained crazy quilt, but most of the blocks are made up of 16 squares, each square string pieced with 3 fabrics. The orientation and color placement create a crazy quilt effect. It is hand and machine pieced and hand quilted. Thick cotton batting and off white cotton solid backing. The workmanship is primitive and folky. It is in fair condition with an overall dingy appearance, spots, and musty odor, and would benefit for a soaking once the one of 2 holes are repaired. This quilt was collected in NC. We do our best to describe all items in detail and provide pictures. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
