Vintage 9 Patch Checkerboard Quilt c 1950s, measuring 71×90. It is hand and machine pieced and hand quilted. Thick cotton batting and several plain cotton feedsacks as backing. The workmanship is primitive and folky. It is in fair condition with an overall dingy appearance, spots, and musty odor, and would benefit for a soaking once the several seams that have split have been repaired. This quilt was collected in NC. We do our best to describe all items in detail and provide pictures. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
