Antique c1850 Tulip quilt measuring 74×76 inches, 16 tulip blocks are set straight, 4 by 4, with a red sawtooth border and a large white border. It is hand pieced, even the tulips! And hand quilted. This cotton batting with white cotton reverse. A well planned quilt, using the same fabrics throughout: Turkey red print, a double process green print, and a Quercitron Yellow print. Wonderful workmanship in this quilt! In very good condition, one small spot on the back. We do our best to describe all items in detail and provide pictures.
