Vintage Kittens and Mittens Crib Quilt c1930s, measuring 45×55 inches. 12 blocks in the center with appliqued mittens in pink, blue, and yellow, with hand appliqued and embroidered kitten faces. Kitten faces are also along the borders in groups of 3. And kitten faces are quilted into the quilt! In fair condition, there is edge wear and fabric deterioration. This quilt was part of Laura Fisher’s estate. Laura Fisher was a New York based world renowned quilt expert, dealer and author, and in offering these textiles for sale we hope to honor her legacy of style and scholarship. . She had put a small piece of painter’s tape on the back of the quilt with some information. We do our best to describe all items in detail and provide pictures.
