Antique c1890s, Hole in the Barn Door Quilt measuring 73×75 inches. Design is created by simple squares with a complicated elongated hexagon sashing, claret red border. It is hand and machine pieced and hand quilted. The reverse is a strippy or bars back, and highly faded. In fair condition with fading and 13 pieces have deteriorated. .
