Antique c1870 Wool Hexagon Quilt, Reclining Diamonds, because of the way the diamond rosette seem to be lounging in their horizontal arrangement. Measures 62in by 64in. It is mostly wool challis and delaines. Many of the fabrics are specialty cut to the center to the center of the hexagon shape. Medium batting, an amazing paisley cotton print on the reverse, and finished with a twill tape edge.
