September Antique Quilt & Textile Auction
Vintage quilt, Patriotic Hexagon Stars Post WW2, probably about 1945 to 1955. It measures 75in x 85in. These hexagons are larger, 1.5in along one side. Center of each rosette is yellow, followed by various colored flowers, with an outer frame of blue, a garden path of white, with red strategically placed shapes to create a secondary design of stars of red, white and blue. Thin cotton batting with white cotton backing and red bias binding. Hand pieced and hand quilted. Initials are hand embroidered in one corner HCH.
