c1900 Antique Pineapple or Prickly Pear Quilt Top measuring 76in x 77in. A four-block quilt with very large blocks 34in x 34in, with a red and green strippy border on all 4 sides. The block is a variation of a Southern pattern: Pineapple of Prickly Pear, with the addition of the heart designs. It is hand appliqued and machine pieced. This is an unfinished quilt top with no batting, backing or quilting.
