Vintage 1960s-1970s American Glory Paragon Kit Quilt measuring 80×96 inches. Inspired by antique quilt in a Philadelphia museum. Medallion style quilt with a center eagle, a rose in each claw. His breast has a shield with three stars. There is an oval wreath with leaves and flowers around the eagle and a bell shape at top of this wreath. A plain narrow border frames center medallion and an appliqué outer border with vines of leaves and flowers. It is hand and machine pieced, hand appliqued, and hand quilted. In good condition with some small spots. Reverse is a white cotton solid with thin polyester batting. We do our best to describe all items in detail and provide pictures.
