Antique Red Work Hand Embroidered Quilt. Measures 52×59 inches. Comprised of 30 blocks about 8×8 inches, set straight, 5×6 with a 6" border on all 4 sides. It is hand embroidered, machine pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a white cotton reverse. Edge is finished with a white cotton binding. Size and subject matter apply to a child. Dated 1923 with initials GGR in the center. Other motifs include animals, toys, nursery rhymes and more. In good condition with minor thread loss to embroidery, minor edge wear, and a hole on the bottom left. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
