2 Vintage c1940 Grandmother’s Flower Garden Quilt Tops with hexagon piecing. Small piece is a c1860 mosaic quilt top for a baby or doll, measuring 18.5″ x 19.5″, medallion style with rosette in center, comprised of wool challis fabric and English paper pieced by hand, hexagons measure 0.75″ along one side, in good condition with two hexagons missing along an edge. Larger quilt top measures approximately 73″ x 68″. Comprised of 36 partial or full rosettes, with a red center and white and blue rounds. There is a chrome yellow print garden path. It is hand pieced. It is an unfinished top with not batting, backing or quilting. It can be cut down and squared up to complete. It is in good condition with some fading to some areas of the blue fabric. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
