Vintage c1940 8 Point Star Quilt in a woven setting measuring 68×82″. Comprised of 49 star blocks, 5×5″, set on point and staggered 4×11. There is a triple strip sashing in blue and white 4″ wide, arranged to give the quilt a woven esthetic. There are white cotton setting triangles. Hand and machine pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting, white cotton reverse and blue and white fabric binding finishes the edges. In fair condition with spots, toning, fading, minor edge wear and storage discoloration.
