2 Antique c1890 Tied Comfort Quilts. Includes c1890 brickworks crib comfort quilt measuring 26×39″. Comprised of rectangles .75×2.25″ with 1.75″ dogtooth border. Fabrics are mostly black, tan with some pink, shirting, claret and a centennial green stripe. Hand pieced and hand tied with pink and white yarn. Cotton batting and a pink print reverse. In fair condition with spots, edge wear, fading and one small tear. Along with a 2 sided tied crib comfort quilt measuring 24×32″. Features scrappy ocean waves on one side and a one patch on the other. Many typical fabrics from the time period. In fair condition with many spots and discolorations.
