Antique Lemoyne Star quilt, top believed to be c1870, but finished c1930; a multigenerational quilt. Measures 89″ x 91″, comprised of 64 Lemoyne Star blocks, 6.75″ x 6.75″, set on point, 8 x 8, with a pink print alternating squares and setting triangles. There is a 3″ white inner border and a 3″ pink print outer border. Hand pieced and hand quilted. There is a thin cotton batting and bubble gum pink print backing. The edge is finished knife edge style. It has a nice variety of prints including double pinks, indigos, browns and a centennial green. In good condition with minor fading and one small faint spot and one area with discoloration. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
