Antique Crown of Leaves Quilt c1880. Measures 86" x 75". Comprised of 4 blocks measuring 31" x 35", set straight 2 x 2, with a varied width red border. Blocks have an appliqued four leaf element plus four leaf element reel arrangement in turkey red and teal, with a reverse applique center flower. Hand pieced, hand appliqued, and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and an off white cotton reverse. Edge is finished with the front brought to the back and applied by hand. In fair condition with fading, spots, age discoloration, wear to a leaf, and a period repair. If you have any doubt, please ask questions! In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
