Antique Star of Bethlehem Quilt Signed 1903. Measures 76" x 76". Star uses a variety of prints and solids fabrics. Hand pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a white with blue print shirting reverse. Edge has a red applied binding. Signed on the front "Charles Clearwater, December 23, 1903." Quilt is not perfectly square and would be suitable for a bed, but not for hanging. In good condition with a few small spots. There appears to be several areas of conservation in the white fabric.
