Antique c1870 Hexagon Quilt with hexagons arranged in diamond pattern. Measures 58×65". Hand pieced and hand quilted with thin cotton batting in a brown print cotton reverse. Binding appears to have been replaced. In poor condition with overall toning, spots, fabric deterioration and a hole in the center. Along with a c1840 floral chintz whole cloth quilt. Measures 53×50". Hand pieced and hand quilted, medium loft cotton batting and a brown with stripe and floral reverse. Edge is finished on 2 sides with a tape edging, one side knife edge and the last side front brought to back. This may have been part of a larger quilt at one point. In poor condition with overall deteriorating to the fabric, and edge wear. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
