Antique c1810 Chintz Quilt is in 2 Pieces. Larger piece measures 69×82". Comprised of 10" squares with 2 alternating chintz fabrics. There are setting triangles along 3 sides and partial blocks along another. There is an 11" chintz border along 1 side. Thin cotton batting and a pieced back with solid off white cotton and a cotton with small print. The smaller piece measures 48×84" and uses the same fabrics. This piece has the border along 2 sides. You can see on the back where the one border was replaced after it was cut in two. Both are hand pieced and hand quilted. The alteration is machine pieced. Both are in poor condition with overall toning, spots, and fabric deterioration. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
