Antique Hexagon Diamond Quilt with Yellow Path from c1890s measuring 70 by 87. Hand pieced and hand quilted. Hexagons are 5/8 inch along one side. Very nice variety of period fabrics in this quilt, with a bright chromium yellow garden path. Triple strip border is 5in wide. Cotton batting, with a lovely paisley and floral print on the back. Three edges are finished with the top coming around to the back, one edge in knife edge finished, and all hand stitched. Corners are rounded. Possibly from West Virginia.
