C1880 PA 4 Eagles Quilt measuring 70 inches by 70 inches. Could be earlier. Each eagle is made up of turkey red, cheddar orange, and bluish green wings. Each has a hand embroidered eye in black thread. Red squares on point frame each quadrant. It is hand Appliqued, machine pieced, and hand quilted. The densest quilting is through the appliqué, the white ground is sparsely quilted in clamshell motifs. Thin cotton batting. White solid backing.
