C1930s Dogwood Kit Quilt measures 74 inches by 84 inches. While I am unable to establish who manufactured this kit quilt, I am confident it is from 1930s to 1940s. Peach ground with hand appliqued brown branches and white flowers, 4 petals and notched, like a Dogwood. The centers, are punch needle, rather than embroidered, which I think is a unique addition. There are hand embroidered details. And it is hand quilted. The batting is cotton, peach backing, and green bias binding applied by machine to front, hand to back.
