Vintage 1930s Quilt Purple and Yellow Snails Trail. A favorite vintage tessellated design, this is a c1930s Snail’s Trail in purple and yellow. It measures 70 inches by 87 inches. Made up of 4 patches, squares, and half square triangles, the arrangement creates some striking movement. Stare at it long enough and you might be able to find the few positional errors in the quilt! It is machine pieced, and amazingly hand quilted…tiny stitched. Batting is a thin cotton, backing is purple, as is the binding.
