Vintage 1930s Appliqued Star Quilt measuring 65in by 91in. Comprised of 54 blocks, 9in by 9in, set straight 6 by 9, with one border 5.5in wide. It is machine pieced and hand appliqued, and hand quilted. The star is unique in that is made up of 8 kite shapes, as opposed to diamond shapes, and then appliqued on the block, rather than pieced into the block.
