Antique Log Cabin Quilt. Circa 1900s and measuring 68 by 76 inches. Comprised of red and green wool/wool blend fabrics with 16 blocks measuring 14.5 by 14.5 inches, set straight 4 by 4, and arranged in a Barn Raising pattern. Green side borders are 6 inches wide, top and bottom are 9 inches white. It is hand and machine pieced, on a foundation fabric, with no batting but a woven plaid backing fabric. The edges are finished with the back coming around to the front and hand stitched. It is hand quilted.
