Antique, mid 19th century, variable star quilt in indigo and white. Quilt measures about 84 inches by 84 inches. The stars are arranged in a 9 patch pattern, and then set with white solid alternating squares, creating a lattice center. There is an inner frame of sawtooth triangles and an outer solid white frame. It is hand pieced and very densely hand quilted in straight lines and feathers. Unfortunately, the quilt is in poor condition with stains, deterioration, holes, edge wear, etc. I would consider it a loss if not for the amazing hand quilted that I know many people appreciate and study. In house Flat Rate Shipping is an estimate. I will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy. Depending on how many lots I can pack, it may cost an additional $5-$10.
