This vintage Gilbert and Sullivan theater costume comes from the estate of an actor who participated in many productions for over 30 years with a well known and award winning NYC Theater Company. Rust velvet and damask pieced stripe doublet with a peach satin shirt attached underneath. One closure at the back of the neck. It features deep purple wings on the sleeves and rope cord belt. Measures 22 inch neck, 36 inches long from back of top of collar to bottom hem, 18 inches across the back of the shoulders, 26 inch long sleeves. It is missing cuff buttons, and some of the stitching is coming undone, and needs to be professionally cleaned. Workmanship is only fair, most of the serging and stitching is visible up close. But is fine in a stage setting. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate. I will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
