Vintage c1950s Trip Around The World quilt measuring about 87 x 87". Comprised entirely of 1 1/2 inch squares fabric placement creates the five on point square geometric motifs. The design shimmers with movement. The squares continue in the 7 inch wide border, on point. It is machine pieced and hand quilted. It has a thin cotton batting and a pieced backing: bright pink solid and bright pink print. Edges are finished in a bright pink cotton solid by machine to front and hand to back.
