Antique 1850 Washington County PA Coverlet measuring 76 inches by 79 inches. In natural and indigo, most likely cotton and wool. Large floral medallions with star centers fill the field. The side borders consist of houses and trees, and the lower border a repeated diamond motif with hanging element. There is a hand sewn seam down the center and the top edge has been hemmed by hand, as well. The lower corners bear the initials CG and 1850, most likely Cornelius Garber from Washington County, East Bethlehem Township, PA. In very good condition with some fringe loss, and only a few small spots. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate.
