Antique c1890s Washington Sidewalk Quilt with Lattice Square alternate blocks. Quilt measures 72×74 inches, comprised of 16 Washington Sidewalk blocks, set on point, 4 by 4, with 9 Lattice Square alternate blocks and setting triangles. Quilt contains several red prints including an anchor print and horseshoe prints and a shirting. The binding is a Congo Red sateen that has faded to a melon color. The quilt is hand and machine pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and off white cotton solid reverse. In very good condition with some fading in a fold line and some discolorations.
