Antique 1860-1870s hand quilt petticoat with a madder print and double green print lining. Cotton batting and hand quilted. It measures 22″ along the waist when laying flat, but has a drawstring to make it adjustable for smaller sizes and 37″ long. Hand construction, and so well done, it could be reversible. In good condition it has a couple of small holes on the madder side, and a split by the waist. The double green lining has a small patch.
