Top 1 Vintage c1930s quilt top measuring 80 inches by 80 inches. Pattern is a Basket of Chips or Flower Basket with green baskets and various scraps of c1930s fabrics and feedsacks in typical pastels of the era. There are 49 blocks each about 9 inches square (25 basket with 24 alternating white squares). There is a 4 inch green border, followed by a 3.5 inch white outer border. The basket blocks were pieced by hand, and the top was assembled by machine. Top 2 Vintage 1930s quilt top with fabrics dating as early as 1890s are scrappy squares with some 4 patch arrangements. 255 5.25in squares are set straight 15 by 17. Hand pieced. Great fabrics!
