Vintage c1930s crib quilt measuring 38 x 59. Quilt has white center field with baby hand quilted in the center of a feathered wreath. The balance of the field is hand quilted in an all-over diamond pattern. Field is framed by a 5.5 inch blue border which is hand quilted in a triple cable. It is pieced by machine. Cotton batting, edge is knife edge finished, back is the same as the front. In good condition with a small tear in the border and two other small holes that do not go through. This quilt was part of Laura Fisher’s estate. Laura Fisher was a New York based world renowned quilt expert, dealer and author, and in offering these textiles for sale we hope to honor her legacy of style and scholarship.
