Vintage crazy quilt patchwork robe. Measure 50 inches from top of collar to bottom hem, 17 inches across the shoulders and 23 inch long sleeves. Mostly red and blue rayon and silk fabrics with a green satin lining. Each patchwork seam is hand embroidered. Construction of the garment is by hand and machine. Includes two snaps and a hook-and-eye front closure and slightly torn inside pocket. In very good condition with minor wear to top of collar and left sleeve. This item was part of Laura Fisher’s estate. Laura Fisher was a New York based world renowned quilt expert, dealer and author, and in offering these textiles for sale we hope to honor her legacy of style and scholarship.
