Antique plush work embroidered picture on black silk, mounted and framed, no glass. Unusual to find this type of variety and workmanship in this needle art. Frame is in fair condition with nicks and chips. Textile is in fair condition with silk shattering. Measures 17.5 x 15.5 inches. This item was part of Laura Fisher’s estate. Laura Fisher was a New York based world renowned quilt expert, dealer and author, and in offering these textiles for sale we hope to honor her legacy of style and scholarship.
