Antique 19th century hand executed needle work done by Mary Jones for “Respected Parnts in Her 10th Year, ” includes a large home amongst trees by a lake, a bridge and swan, border of dense flowers. Measures 29.5 x 20 inches. Wood gold gilt frame under glass, frame is in poor condition with chips and scratches. Needle point has discoloration on outer edge of borders. This item was part of Laura Fisher’s estate. Laura Fisher was a New York based world renowned quilt expert, dealer and author, and in offering these textiles for sale we hope to honor her legacy of style and scholarship.
