Antique c1890s crazy quilt with mostly silk measuring 50 x 67 inches. Comprised of 12 blocks about 16 x 16 inches. Appears to be hand pieced, hand embroidered and hand appliqued. Many of the short seams have a variety of embroidery stitches. In addition to embroidery botanicals, there are animals, a peacock feather, a fan and more. There is a black velvet backing brought to the front to finish the edge. It is tied at each block intersection. No batting. In good condition with about a half a dozen silks at various stages of shattering/deterioration. We do our best to describe all items in detail and provide pictures. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
