Vintage c1930s pinwheel star quilt measuring 77 x 67 inches. Comprised of 12 pinwheel star blocks measuring 16.5 x 16.5 inches, set straight 4 x 3 with 4 inch brown woven cotton sashing and black velvet corner stones. There are four half blocks along the top. Blocks use the brown woven cotton, the black velvet and a wool fabric. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and a brown cotton print on the reverse. Edge is finished knife edge style. This piece was collected in Bound Brook, New Jersey in 1997. In very good condition, no issues noted.
