Antique baby whitework whole cloth quilt measuring 48 x 53 inches. Hand quilted 8-petal flower in the center of a feathered wreath and surrounded by two undulating vine frames. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. In fair condition with small holes, a scuff mark and storage line discoloration. On Laura Fisher’s tag she indicates that it is dated 1901, but I am unable to find that information on the quilt. This item was part of Laura Fisher’s estate. Laura Fisher was a New York based world renowned quilt expert, dealer and author, and in offering these textiles for sale we hope to honor her legacy of style and scholarship.
